Gosh, only one comment and a tiny one: I thought this chapter was a great intro into the problem.

Software vulnerabilities of the future are not limited to buffer overflows and its variants, thus, as Jeanette Wing (ID FOR WING, CHAIR OF CMU CS OR WHATEVER) calls for in her “Call to Action” ID FOR THIS DOC---WHAT IS IT ABOUT? , focus should not only be placed on defending against these known attacks but against all future software code vulnerabilities.
