Project Statement</br></br>
We will do something related to the DMCA.

- Section 1201 of the DMCA – the DMCA’s anti-circumvention prohibition.
- Describing how this prohibition made copyright law controversial

- Four major schools of thought in the DMCA copyright controversy
- DMCA’s impact on the traditional concept of copyright’s "fair use"
- Concerns of the DMCA’s effect on academics and research
- Digital Rights Management (DRM) – this is backed by the DMCA
- Historical Origins + actual statement and implication of the law
- International guidelines/jurisdiction and how this is enforced
- Freedom of speach or burglary tool:
- The “DVD Copy Control Association v. Bunner” case of posting of the DeCSS code which cracked DVD's.
