I am a software engineer at IRIS Data Management Center, a non profit organization that manages much of the earthquake and seismic data collected in the US. My current project is to create a tool enabling geophysicists to early compare data from real and simulated earthquakes, as part of the Southern California Earthquake Consortium ITR. I have fed at the trough of goverment sponsored scientific research from earliest childhood, with the exception of a five-year foray into the public sector. I am in my last year of the UW CSE PMP.
